UK Confirmation Statement

A confirmation statement (CS01) is a snapshot of a company's directors, secretary (if one has been appointed), registered office address, shareholders, share capital, and major control personnel. As of June 30, 2016, the annual return has been replaced by the confirmation statement, according to the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act. 

Instead of filling out your company information as you would with the yearly return, you will only need to 'check and confirm' your company information with the confirmation statement. 

If your company's details haven't changed since incorporation or the last confirmation statement, you may simply review and confirm the information on your next confirmation statement.
